The MICHELIN Guide Singapore turned 10 this week, and it marked the occasion by handing out new stars.

Eight new restaurants were newly awarded or promoted stars in the 2026 selection, headlined by a rare debut at Two MICHELIN Stars.

Unveiled on Aug. 4, 2026, the guide includes 307 establishments across the island. It includes three restaurants with Three MICHELIN Stars, nine with Two MICHELIN Stars, and 33 with One MICHELIN Star.

1887 by André, Chef André Chiang's new concept inside Raffles Hotel, walked straight into the guide with Two Stars. Set in the hotel's heritage dining room, the restaurant rewords French classics with a Singaporean flair, including a Papillote de Bouillabaisse that inspectors singled out as a standout dish. With such a foray into the guide, the restaurant also nabbed the "Opening of the Year Award."

Joining it at Two Stars is Seroja, promoted up from One Star. Chef-owner Kevin Wong's menu is a love letter to the Malay Archipelago, built on local produce, regional spices and techniques honed during stints in France and the U.S. The two newcomers bring the Two-Star roster to nine, alongside Cloudstreet, Jaan by Kirk Westaway, Meta, Saint Pierre, Shoukouwa, Sushi Sakuta, and Thevar.

Five restaurants are cooking with their first-ever MICHELIN Star this year: Cherry Garden by Chef Fei, Jin Ting Wan, Loca Niru, Sushi Kimura+, and Tenshima. Yong Fu was also promoted to One Star after previously sitting in the Selected category.

At Three Stars, the top restaurants held onto their stars: Les Amis, Odette, and Zén are still the only restaurants in the city-state to reach the coveted tier.

As a 10th anniversary guide, they also honored restaurants that have consistently maintained their place in the guide since its launch in 2016. The decade-long streak is a mark of consistency and commitment to excellence. Twelve restaurants — including Candlenut, Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle, Lei Garden, Odette, Shoukouwa and Waku Ghin — have appeared in the guide for 10 years.

Fiz and Seroja both received MICHELIN Green Stars for green, sustainable practices. Beyond the food, the guide also handed out four Special Awards: a Service Award for Maryjoy Lim of Jag, a Sommelier Award for Joe Yang of Jin Ting Wan, a Young Chef Award for Shusuke Kubota of Loca Niru, and the aforementioned Opening of the Year award.

"Reaching the tenth edition of the MICHELIN Guide Singapore is a meaningful milestone and a testament to the passion, resilience and creativity of its culinary community," said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide, in a statement. "What makes Singapore truly distinctive is the way its vibrant hawker centres and fine-dining restaurants thrive side by side."

Ten years in, the MICHELIN Guide Singapore proves a dining scene that keeps producing newcomers worth the hype and old guards that have consistently proven their place isn't a fluke.
