Calling all art toy fans and collectors! POP MART is making its debut in the Philippines with a limited-time pop-up store starting Nov. 2 at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA).
The Chinese toy company is well known for its iconic designer toys such as Labubu, Molly, Hirono, Skullpanda, and Crybaby. Fans in the Philippines won’t have to fly to another country or pay a hefty sum for shipping fees to get their hands on one of these toys as the pop-up is set to run for three months at Level 2, North Entertainment Mall of SM MOA. That means it’ll be here 'til after Christmas, so you know what to add to your holiday shopping lists!
The pop-up store will feature a wide range of collectibles, exclusive finds and surprises on opening day, so it’ll be worth the queue! There will also be a unique life-sized Hirono Mime Devilry statue designed as an interactive photo spot where you can make unforgettable memories with your loved ones.
Fans can also expect a variety of blind-box toys like the Labubu series designed by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung. The fuzzy monster character has gone viral on social media with several local and international celebrities, including Lisa of Blackpink, Heart Evangelista, Kathryn Bernardo, and Vice Ganda, showing off their Labubu collections.
This pop-up store is part of the company’s Southeast Asian expansion plan, joining over 500 stores in 30 countries. Fingers crossed that this is just the beginning as the company hints at potential permanent locations and collaborations with local artists.
