Anne Curtis can now be seen in the same room as the A-listers of Hollywood — at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.
The world-famous wax museum Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, known for their life-size wax displays of famous personalities who made waves on the global stage in their careers, has unveiled the newest Filipino star to join their glittering line-up: Anne Curtis.
An actress, TV host, endorser, philanthropist, and fashion “It” girl, Anne Curtis has had a stunning 27-year career in the Philippines. She has dazzled audiences through roles in numerous film and TV series, such as “No Other Woman,” “Buy Bust,” “Dyosa,” “Dyesebel,” and “Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story,” entertained countless audiences through her hosting gig at “It’s Showtime!,” and was even awarded by some of the country’s biggest award-giving bodies.
Apart from this, she is regarded as quite a fashion icon and is also an entrepreneur and a National Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF Philippines.
Her “highly Anne-ticipated” wax figure’s unveiling happened in Makati City on Nov. 27, 2024, where Anne Curtis showed why she was deserving of that spot at Madame Tussauds. Anne shared that her induction into the Madame Tussauds wax museum was “a dream come true.”
“It’s about time that Filipinos were able to introduce themselves worldwide across different fields. I’m thankful that Madame Tussauds Hong Kong chose me to show that Pinoy talent is world-class,” she later added.
Anne Curtis’ wax figure is seen in a pose familiar to avid viewers and fans, dressed in a cream-colored Dior gown and a microphone in hand.
The actress shared that she and the team wanted the figure to be “timeless” and “true to who she is,” sharing that the gown that her wax twin was wearing was the first look she had when she first dabbled in the fashion world.
The microphone was also a touch she loved, as Anne said that it was a tool that helped her in her 27 years in the industry, “I’m happy it became a part of my wax figure to inspire people to pursue their dreams.”
Anne Curtis’ wax figure will be housed in the “Hong Kong Glamour Room” at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, together with Hollywood A-listers Nicole Kidman, Lady Gaga, Chris Hemsworth, Brad Pitt, and more. She will be the first Filipino to ever be displayed in the Glamour Room.
She is the 4th Filipino to be given a wax likeness, joining Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, and People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao.
Anne Curtis’ wax figure can be seen on display starting Dec. 9, 2024.
