Ditch the apps! The Queer Table PH is foregoing digital dating and turning matchmaking into a live event — and the pool is all queer women!
Manila-based LGBTQIA+ community organization is hosting "Pitch, Please," a live presentation night where attendees pitch their single sapphic friends to a room full of queer women. The event will take place on July 11, 2026 from 5 PM to 9 PM at Polilya in Poblacion, Makati City. Tickets are P450 and include one free drink.
The promise is simple: show up, build a presentation on your single sapphic best friend, and make the case to a roomful of queer women. Think of it as a pitch competition, except you might walk away with a date!
Candidates appearing on screen must be single queer women aged 25 and older. Everyone else is welcome to attend.
The event is organized by The Queer Table PH, a community organization built around creating intentional events and safe spaces for queer women. Their ethos is "You can sit with us."
Polilya, a Poblacion fixture since 2017, is known for their spin on classic cocktails, many using Filipino ingredients, and craft beers. One free drink is included with each ticket, and their menu offers plenty of options to set the mood before the evening's main feature.
As the Queer Table put it: "Let's get that third-wheel hitched so they can finally stop complaining about being single at 2 AM on a random Tuesday."
