Author, entrepreneur, mother, and model: Emily Ratajkowski is a multi-hyphenate who remains to be a fashion icon. While her provocative sense of style has often been a topic of discussion, there’s no denying that the model and muse is empowered by her body. When she isn’t in a romantic Inamorata bikini, or walking the runway in Loewe, she can be found donning local designer Patty Ang’s “Patton” designs.
Known for its laidback approach to elevated basics, Patton is Patty Ang’s brainchild, an embodiment of her approach to casual wear. While she is best known for her atelier – delivering brides and celebrities the gowns of their dreams – Patty Ang branches out into the uber-cool and the approachable via Patton.

Founded at the beginning of a tumultuous time – in March of 2020 to be exact – Patton believes in taking complications out of dressing. Instead, they offer clean aesthetics, snatched silhouettes, and plenty of options for both men and women. This August 2024, they officially launched the sixth and latest branch to open: in Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong.
Located at the mall’s Mid Level 2/3, in the East Wing, Patton sits tucked between cafes and boutiques that provide the perfect background for ambient shopping. With a simple dressing room and racks upon racks of Emily Ratajkowski-approved designs, Shangri-La’s Patton branch puts a focus on inclusivity, carrying gender-neutral pieces from size XS to XXL.

Regular clientele are often spotted in bodysuits and tracksuits, colored in minimalist hues that work for any gender. Notable favorites include the Poplin overalls in the shade “coffee bean,” which Patty herself wore to the opening, and the matching Poplin layered skirt, which plays with both texture and dimension on an otherwise classic midi. Adventurous dressers may prefer Patton’s asymmetric bodysuits or their throw-on-and-go mono unitards that feature an off-the-shoulder, halter, scoopneck, or plunging neckline.
At the opening, guests – which include models and influencers such as Issa Pressman, Janeena Chan, and Jessica Yang – were treated to a shopping party with the brand’s latest drops. Of course, Patty was there along with husband, Migs Almeda, and daughter, Alexa Ang. The family celebrated with guests with snacks from Patton On the Go, the brand’s sister company, and a café that serves the cutest and quirkiest foodstuffs. Cocktails from Sula were also available, treating shoppers to tropical liqueur with flavors such as coconut and coffee.
Other Patton branches are also open at Power Plant Mall, SM Aura, W Tower, Greenbelt 5, and TriNoma. Their Shangri-La branch can be found at Mid Level 2/3 East Wing.
