The new Galaxy International Convention Center (GICC), which boasts 40,000 square metres of venue space and can house up to 16,000 people, is set to further improve the MICE industry. Notably, the GICC has been awarded a Gold Certification from LEED® and a Silver Certification from EarthCheck, recognising its sustainable design and construction.

Included in the grand opening is the Galaxy Arena, the largest indoor arena in the city with a 16,000-seat capacity, in which more than 80 performers have staged their events since April this year, including K-Pop girl group Blackpink’s “Born Pink” concert.

Andaz Macau, known to be the largest Andaz Hotel in the world with over 700 rooms and suites, is perfectly accessible both to GICC and Galaxy Arena, following Macau’s development plan, “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.”

The Raffles in Galaxy Macau is likewise the best fit for a luxurious lifestyle with its 450 suites, where guests can experience living in their own mansion and have an elegant and exquisite stay.

More projects are set to come to continue boosting and promoting Macau’s tourism and improving its socio-economic stability.
