After observing Olympic Day celebrations this year on June 23 in Western Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong, local athletes revealed their team tracksuits embracing French-themed attire on the road to Paris.
Let’s talk about what else is happening in Hong Kong to keep up the spirit:
As the Paris Olympics 2024 are just around the corner, The Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong (SF&OC), introduced a photo exhibition across different locations throughout the city in celebration of the upcoming event.
The “Eye on the Olympics” exhibition will be held from June 24 to July 1, 2024, and will be displayed in eight locations across Hong Kong malls, including MegaBox, Nina Plaza and Olympian City.
To commemorate the effort, persistence, and commitment of each sportsperson, there will be dedicated portraits of 24 qualified members, which aim to inspire and promote each sport they will be representing.

The athletes include Tse Ying Suet (badminton), Tang Chun Man (badminton), Lo Sin Yan (badminton), Wong Ka Lee (judo), Shek Wai Hung (gymnastics), Jason Ng (triathlon), Ma Kwan Ching (windsurfing), Cheng Ching Yin (windsurfing), Akira Sakai/Russell Aylsworth (sailing), and the list goes on!
The exhibition was assembled in collaboration with five reputable photographers, including Brian Cheng, who has a rich background in documenting sports and political events such as the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, the Football Association Challenge Cup (FA Cup), and the Olympic Games.
