You can soon get around Hong Kong more easily as a new transportation option is set to come to our shores soon! If you haven’t heard, the Singapore-based ride-hailing company TADA has recently announced their plans to enter the HK market by the end of this year.
The announcement comes after observing significant growth potential in the city, driven by its thriving economy, high population density, and strong demand among citizens for reliable and efficient technological solutions.
The exciting news broke amidst the ongoing conversation about regulating ride-hailing services such as Uber, which has been in the market for almost a decade. Unlike the competitor, TADA operates under a zero-commission model which aims to bring fairer fares to passengers and enable drivers to earn more.
How does it work? Well, compared to other businesses that take a portion of fares for every customer, TADA only charges drivers a platform fee – lower fees, lower fares! Interesting, right? Keep your eyes peeled for more updates.
