From Dec. 24-26, the four-course Piedmontese Festive Lunch (HK$880) and five-course Christmas Dinner (HK$1,380) menus offering seasonal exquisite delights including Risotto Gorgonzola dolce, salsiccia di Bra e porri- risotto made with Italian Carnoli rice, garnished with sweet Gorgonzola cheese; Trota, carota e arance- a beautiful trout dish complemented with carrot puree and orange; and Uovo, topinambour e tartufo bianco d’Alba- poached egg with Jerusalem artichoke Piedmontese-style.
For those seeking a one-of-a-kind experience, end your year on a high note on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 with a five-course New Year's Eve (HK$1,680) menu that includes a glass of Dom Pérignon 2013 to start the celebration.
The menu begins with Tartare di gamberi ed alghe di lago- prawn tartare and lake weed, while mains include Castellana's classic Il filetto di Fassona- Fassona veal tenderloin paired with Chanterelle mushrooms and Parmesan cheese sauce, and the luxurious Astice blu Francese, funghi e tartufo bianco d’Alba- a Brittany blue lobster seafood dish with Alba white truffle. Don't sleep on the Risotto alla Gualtiero Marchesi- made with one-year-old Italian Carnaroli rice and saffron, garnished with edible gold.
Desserts include Zabaione e panettone natalizio- a traditional Italian festive panettone with whipped custard for a sweet finish.
