A vibrant new chapter in Bangkok’s cultural and social landscape is set to unfold with the opening of The Consul, an exclusive lifestyle destination and members’ club poised to reshape the way Bangkok connects, converses, and creates.
Rising on the top two floors of the new JLK Tower in the lively Sukhumvit district, The Consul reimagines the members’ club experience as a modern gateway for culture and collaboration — with plans for expansion across Asia and beyond. Inspired by Bangkok’s long history as a crossroads of trade and ideas, the space celebrates connection over exclusivity, depth over display, and community over convention.
At its heart is a collection of exceptional social spaces with stunning city views, designed to delight and inspire. Highlights include Bar Won, headlined by the team behind Seoul’s award-winning Alice, and a contemporary Chinese restaurant led by Chef Benson Feng, offering modern interpretations of Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine. Designed to transform throughout the evening into a vibrant supper club experience, the venue comes alive through nightly live performers and entertainers.
In an international first, The Consul will also be home to Yang Club, a new concept from Team Wang Design, with creative direction from Hong Kong-born global star Jackson Wang. This visionary new concept offers a blend of music, lifestyle, and culture, exclusive only to members of The Consul.
While the restaurant and Bar Won will be open to everyone, the Yang Club, private rooms, and cigar lounges will be exclusive for members only. Early bird memberships for The Consul have already sold out, with limited memberships to be made available when the club officially opens.
