The Peninsula Bangkok presents The Secret Roots of Thai Cuisine, a Four-Hands dinner experience at Thiptara.

Taking place on Aug. 16, 2025, this meal is brought to the Peninsula by two celebrated award-winning chefs: Chef Ian Kittichai and Chef Ying Monnipa.

Savor this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to embark on a gastronomic adventure at the Peninsula's signature Thai restaurant, nestled on the side of the Chao Phraya River in Thonburi's heritage district.

Chef Ian is a trailblazer for shifting perceptions of Thai cuisine, while Chef Ying, the Executive Chef of Thiptara, is known for placing authentic Thai cuisine on the map. This exciting culinary collaboration will dive into Thailand’s storied culinary heritage, blending ancient regal traditions with the rustic charm of rural flavors.

For one-night-only, indulge in an exclusive multi-course menu crafted by the two visionaries, featuring an array of traditional Thai dishes.

The curated menu spotlights Thai ingredients like Mae Klong mackerel from Samut Songkhram, Kamphaeng Saen beef from Nakhon Pathom, and fragrant coconut from Trok Khao Mao, paired optionally with terroir-driven Thai wines.
